✦ The Gentle Nature of Riso

Each Risograph print carries its own character — small shifts, soft traces, a rhythm that can never be repeated. You may see:

  • Ink that drifts, lighter here and deeper there

  • Subtle roller marks, reminders of the machine’s touch

  • Colors that wander, layering into unexpected harmony

These details are not flaws, but the heartbeat of Riso. Printing with us means embracing these moments, and finding beauty in what cannot be perfectly controlled.

✦ File Requirements

  • Preferred file: PDF (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator also accepted)

  • Each color = one grayscale file (300–600 PPI)

  • Name each file with its intended color

  • Outline fonts and vector linework where possible

  • Solid fills: keep under 90% opacity

  • Minimum text size: 7pt · Minimum line weight: 0.5pt

  • Maximum paper size: 8.5" × 11"

  • Leave a 0.25" margin on all sides; trimming for full bleed available
